The Cape Coat

Greetings from Paris. Over New Years I decided to spend five days in Paris and had the best time ever. We stayed in a beautiful hotel suite just a throw away from the Eiffel Tower so every time we left our hotel, we literally had to walk past it. Always a breathtaking sight. We had a few days of shooting planned, the rest was celebrating the start into the new year. On our first day we visited Sacré-Coeur and walked past the colourful street, Rue Cremieux. A fave place of mine to walk by. Its just a positive stretch of street which brings me to my happy place. We also stopped by some shopping malls to get a good shop since I was searching everywhere for a good cape coat, my fave staple piece for the transition from Winter to Spring. I had spotted this coat from Zara but since it was Summer, I thought I would just wait for a little bit to buy it but then it was sold out everywhere!  I visited a couple of Zara’s on the hunt for it and voilá, on the last day where we visited the Galeries Lafayette, they had a small Zara Store inside it where this coat was hanging there waiting to be collected by me. I grabbed it off the rack and it was finally mine. I swear this is my fave coat thus far. I paired it with a cute cream sweater dress from Na-Kd , my Gucci Dionysus Bag and cute golden cat-eye sunnies.  Last but not least, my staple go to’s for Winter, some stretchy over the knee boots and of course opaque black tights. How do you like the look and what is your favourite coat style ever?
