Home Office Breakfast Frühstück. Day 5 of my fitness challenge and I am doing just fine. Who would have thought giving up all the bad choices in life would turn out to be this easy, not me. Let me tell you the background information, maybe you are or were just like me. Now I must state that I am no fitness guru, nor bodybuilder in retirement, nor a gym rat… absolutely none of those. I just want to see what it take a regular person like me, to get back in shape. I am willing to accept this challenge and conquer this to make my body become as healthy as it can.
In the past:
My morning routine would be rather flaky. I would get up at about 7:30-45 depending on how late I went to bed. This was one the bad habits I had to kick by the way. Am I the only who stays awake until midnight or worse. That really throws me for a loop when I get up in the morning. Especially when work now interferes with your personal at home life, which let’s face it, you are working from home, it’s hard to distance it. Now that I have cut out the obligatory glass of wine and cigarette in the evening, I wake up much much easier. Yes, I used to socially smoke. I don’t know if that makes me a niche smokée but let’s just call it that. My breakfast routine was always what was in the fridge. Now, what could that be? A piece of yummy baguette or 1 1/2 buns with something on it like Serrano Ham from Italy or just some Paprika Lyon drowned in some nice dark coffee and dare I say it, Cola Zero. Don’t judge, sometimes the carbonic acid jumpstarted me faster than the coffee. That was my not so fabulous Home Office Breakfast Routine Before, now let’s go to the present.
In the Present:
Now as I said, smoking and drinking alcohol goes hand in hand with me. I have amazingly stopped one and the other followed right away. Fascinating right. I must admit, the first two nights of breaking the habit weren’t pleasant, but once I got through it, I have managed to form a regular sleeping routine. Still a bit too short for my liking, but I will try that as of tonight to go to bed at around ten… I still do not wake up bright and chatty but I believe that it’s because i’m a night-owl. Maybe it stems from my teen-age years and early twenties staying out late at night. Bad example. Now I’ve seen this breakfast floating around for quite some time now on instragram and I love that it gives me so much energy, I can easily last on this meal until six in the evening. I don’t though because after that I get super hungry and my stomach starts churning. I will tell you what I do for my Lunch routine in the next post but I hope you enjoyed this post and leave some feedback! What you need to know about this simple recipe:
- Dark Bread
- Cut the whole Avocado in the middle until you reach the core
- Boil Eggs for 8-10 minutes if you want the eggs just right
- Cut bread in half and lay the salmon flat on top
- Make your favourite tea.
Tip: Separate both halves and instead of eating it with a spoon, peel it instead. It’s healthier than placing the Avocado on your plate with the rest of your food. You never know who touched that before you.

Home Office Breakfast Frühstück. Fitness Challenge Tag 5, es hat begonnen und ich bin relativ gut dabei! Ich hätte nie gedacht dass ich alle meine schlechten Angewohnheiten so einfach aufgeben kann, von heute auf morgen. Für die Menschen die sich fragen warum ich das mache, ich bin kein Fitness-Guru, kein Bodybuilder in Rente oder Fitness freak, ich will wieder auf Gesunde Ernährung zurückgreifen. Ich arbeite normal von zu Hause und das macht die Herausforderung für mich ein wenig anders. Ich bin aber bereit die Challenge zu akzeptieren und mein Körper so gesund zu machen wie Möglich.
Lachs / Thunfisch
Schneiden Sie die ganze Avocado in der Mitte , bis zum Kern
Eier kochen für 8-10 Minuten
Schneiden Sie das Brot in der Mitte und legen Sie den Lachs oben drauf
Machen Sie Ihre Lieblings-Tee
Tipp: Anstatt die Avocado mit einem Löffel zu essen, schälen Sie es! Es ist ästhetischer und gesünder. Man kann ja nie wissen , wer die vorher berührt hat.
